This study was conducted to examine the factors affecting the quality of life of professionals who provided psychosocial support during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was examined how the self-compassionate approaches of the professionals and their anxiety, fear, suspicion about COVID-19 and quality of life affect each other. Of the 227 psychosocial support professionals who participated in the study; in addition to Self-Compassion Scale, Professional Qualitiy of Life Scale and the COVID-19 related Psychological Distress Scale data were collected through the demographic information form prepared in line with the purpose of the study. The data analysis of the research, which was designed in a quantitative method and relational scanning model, was carried out in the SPSS 25 program. With the findings obtained as a result of the study; It has been revealed that as the level of self-compassion increases in professionals who provide psychosocial support during the Covid-19 pandemic, the quality of life of the professional is positively affected and the fear, anxiety and suspicion about Covid-19 decreases. It was determined that the increase in the total score obtained from the Covid-19 Related Psychological Distress Scale negatively affected the professional's quality of life. This confirmed that Covid-19, which is known to be a traumatic life event, is a risk factor for the quality of life of professionals providing psychosocial support.
