dc.description.abstractSon yıllarda, yeni materyalizmin felsefi çerçevesi, maddi dünyanın geleneksel anlayışlarına meydan okuyan canlı ve etkili bir yaklaşım olarak ortaya çıktı. Bu tez, yeni materyalizme, temel kavramlarına ve çağdaş düşüncedeki önemine genel bir bakış sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. For this purpose, yeni materyalist felsefenin ontoloji ile olan sıkı bağı ifade edilecek ve bunun ilkeleri ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır. İnsan olmayanların da gerçeklik üretimi bakımından etkileme kapasiteleri ortaya konularak, yeni materyalizmin geleneksel düalistik yaklaşımlara nasıl meydan okuduğu gösterilecektir. Yeni materyalist ontolojinin içerimleri analiz edildikten sonra, dünyayla ilişki kurmanın alternatif biçimlerine ışık tutulacak ve aynı zamanda bu tür bakış açılarının etik ve politik sonuçları ifade edilecektir. Felsefi metinlerin, bilimsel araştırmaların ve vaka çalışmalarının disiplinlerarası analizi yoluyla bu tez, yeni materyalizm ve onun etik-politik içerimlerini çevreleyen süregelen tartışmalara katkıda bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır. dc.description.abstractIn recent years, the philosophical framework of new materialism has emerged as a vibrant and influential approach that challenges conventional understandings of the material world. This thesis aims to provide an overview of new materialism, its key concepts, and its significance in contemporary thought. For this purpose, an attempt will be made to express the close relationship between new materialist philosophy and ontology, and the principles of this connection will be elucidated. By highlighting the capacity of non-human entities to influence the production of reality, the way new materialism challenges traditional dualistic approaches will be demonstrated. After analyzing the contents of new materialist ontology, alternative forms of engaging with the world will be shed light upon, along with the ethical and political consequences of such perspectives. Through an interdisciplinary analysis of philosophical texts, scientific research, and case studies, this thesis aims to contribute to the ongoing debates surrounding new materialism and its ethical-political implications.
