Özet
ABSTRACT: In this study, the efficiency of the banks operating in the Turkish Banking sector was measured for the years of 2015-2019. For efficiency measurement, inputoriented CCR and input-oriented BCC methods which are among DEA methods were applied separately. The result of the analysis was tested using statistical methods of ANOVA and t-test. When interpreting efficiency scores, banks are divided into groups as state banks, foreign-owned deposit banks, foreign-owned participation banks, private-owned state banks and state participation banks. While evaluating the efficiency of bank groups according to the results of DEA analysis, suggestions for potential improvements were made for the relevant bank groups.
