Teberrükât Kayıtları: Tokat Örneği

Abstract

Bu makalede, Tokat’ta özel bir koleksiyonda bulunan Vakıflara ait yedi belgede adı geçen teberrükât eşyalarının nasıl değerlendirildiği incelenmeye çalışılacaktır. Belgeler 1930-1936 yılları arasında düzenlenmiştir. Teberrükât adı verilen ve hayır sahipleri tarafından bağışlanan eşyalar Cumhuriyet döneminde kadro dışı bırakılan cami ve mescitlerden toplanarak ya açık artırma usulü ile satılmışlar ya da kıymetli olanlar Vakıflar tarafından alınarak müzelere verilmiştir. Bu belgelerde ise sözü edilen eşyalar arasında sadece birkaç parça halının kıymetli olduğu düşünülmüş, diğer eşyalar ise açık artırma ile satılmıştır. Bu bağlamda makale sözü edilen halıların akıbetini incelerken teberrükat eşyalarının cumhuriyet döneminde nasıl değerlendirildiğini ortaya çıkarmaya çalışmaktadır.This study will examine how the teberrukat (donation relics) items described in the seven documents belonging to the Tokat Directorate of Foundations, which are in a private collection in Tokat, are evaluated. The documents were drawn up between 1930 and 1936. It is known that the items donated by the benefactors, defined as teberrukat (donation relics), were collected from mosques and masjids that were excluded from the staff during the Republic period, and most of them were sold by auction method, and the valuable ones were bought by the General Directorate of Foundations and sent to museums. The documents created between 1930 and 1936, the focus of this study, indicate that the majority of the other objects are auctioned off, with the exception of a few rugs, which are thought to be valuable. Additionally, copper candlesticks that were determined to be worthless were auctioned off. The article also discusses how old carpets were added to the Museum of Turkish-Islamic Arts collection in the 1930s.
