Sağlık Bilimleri Eğitiminde Uzaktan Eğitim

Abstract

Öğretimde teknoloji kullanımı giderek yaygın hale gelmektedir. Öğretimde kullanılan teknolojilerden biri de uzaktan eğitimdir. Uzaktan eğitim, eğitim ihtiyacını karşılayan geleneksel örgün eğitime alternatif bir yollardan birisidir. Uzaktan eğitimin kullanıldığı eğitim alanlarından biri olan sağlık bilimleri eğitiminde birçok teknolojik uygulamaların kullanımı, sınırsız tekrar yapma imkanı ve kliniğe çıkmadan gerekli ön becerilerin kazanılması açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Ancak sağlık bilimleri alanında önemli yeri olan laboratuvar ve klinik uygulamalarda sadece uzaktan eğitim yönteminin eksikliklere neden olabileceği ve bu nedenle uzaktan eğitim sistemlerinin geleneksel örgün eğitimin yerini alamayacağı düşünülmektedir.The use of technology in education is becoming increasingly common. One of the technologies used in teaching is distance education. Distance education is one of the alternative ways to traditional formal education that meets the need for education. The use of many technological applications in health sciences education, which is one of the education areas where distance education is used, is of great importance in terms of unlimited repetition and gaining the necessary pre-skills before going to the clinic. However, it is thought that only distance education method may cause deficiencies in laboratory and clinical applications which have an important place in the field of health sciences and therefore, distance education systems cannot replace traditional formal education.
