dc.description.abstractAbstract This study is prepared in order to investigate and display the effects of the diversification of media capital on editorial policy in Turkish Newspaper Milliyet. The most important aim of the project is to discover how editorial policies depend on and are able to be altered by the ownership interests and divergent capital establisments. By using classical content analysis method, front page news of Milliyet are analysed with 13 content analysis questions in the time period between 1972-2012. After the the oritical framework chapter of media and ownership relations, an outline of the content analysis to follow, the findings of the analysis and discussion. This project intends to conceive whether editorial policies and agenda making decisions are dependent on to the newspaper owners? diverse capital enterprises.en_US
