    ABSTRACT: Termination causes and conclusion of financial leasing contracts comprise the subject of the study. Besides that, qualification of the permanent debt relationship of the financial lease agreement and its effect on termination has been examined. This study is taken as basis on the provisions of the Financial Leasing, Factoring, Financing and Savings Finance Companies Law No. 6361; in patches former Financial Leasing Law No. 3226 and within the bounds of the possibility the general and special provisions of the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098 have been utilized. In the first part of the study, the causes for spontaneous termination were discussed; and in this section, changes were made, especially in practice, regarding the frequent resorting to the possibility of concordat, as well as in what conditions permanent debt relations will be affected if the concordat is declared. As well as the study explained the termination of the leasing contract mainly for future effective results, the third section discussed the termination of the contract by recission. At this point, especially the circumstances of failure to deliver the leased goods on time or the presence of a substantial defect in the goods at the delivery stage were examined. Damages that may be claimed by the parties if the recission is conceivable are also discussed in this section.
