Investigating the mobile-internet based healthcare services on patients’ satisfaction and Word-of-Mouth (WOM)

Technology is always evolving and pushing the boundaries and force everything and everyone around it to evolve with it. New boundaries brought new aspects to various types of concepts. With the internet technology, people started to search the information that they need from online platforms and that lead organization and their marketers to adapt their marketing strategies and create their own versions of digital strategy to attract their potential customers’ interest by creating websites and new services. The type of digital information and platforms that provide health-related information is called “E-health” or “Health 2.0”. Among these various type of platforms, Mobile and Internet-based health services (MIHS) helped patients to find the necessary information and evaluate the most suitable doctors and make online appointments for diagnosis and the treatment purposes. The aim of this research is to investigate the factors that affect MIHS success. The result of this research will contribute to the marketing literature specifically for healthcare services.
