Özet
Energy sector and its cases in late Ottoman, early Republican era is limited with unique examples. The paper discusses the trasformation of Silahtaraga Power Plant into Santralistanbul and ambitious art campus (industrial heritage site). During the transformation the historical periods of institutional development in the power plant has been detected as well as in the knowledge and arts based institution. In order to track the similarities, Foucaultian methodological suggestion of archeology, genealogy and ethics have been used and discussed.
