dc.description.abstractFeminist teoriler, dünyanın dört bir yanında kadınlar için daha fazla çalışma, tartışma ve varoluş yaratma çabasına katkıda bulunmak için önemli adımlar atmış bir örnek teşkil eder. Bu tezde, feminist yaklaşımlar ve kadına yönelik şiddete katkısı, alınan önlemler ve Türkiye'de kadına yönelik şiddetin durumu ele alınmaktadır. Kadına yönelik şiddete ilişkin haberler ve diğer tüm söylemler, toplumun kabul ettiği bazı bakış açılarına örnektir. Bu nedenle, kadın cinayeti haberlerinin nasıl ele alındığı, kadına yönelik şiddet hakkında bir fikir elde etmek için örnek teşkil eder. Şiddetin varlığına ilişkin toplumsal bağlama odaklanmak, çözüme katkıda bulunmak için temeldir. Kadın cinayeti haberlerini ve bu haberlerin dilini incelemek toplumun kabul ettiği bazı normların ne kadar etkili olduğunu göstermektedir ve şiddetle ilgili en yaygın endişeleri şekillendirir. Bu tezde, kadın cinayeti haberleri, mevcut durumu değerlendirerek ve kadına yönelik şiddeti daha kolay anlamaya katkıda bulunarak şiddetin toplumsal yansıması için bir örnek olarak kullanılmaktadır. Şiddeti azaltmaya yönelik çok sayıda önlem ve düzenlemenin yanı sıra, haberlerde belirtilen dil ve detaylar dikkat çekmektedir. Kadın cinayeti haberlerinde toplumda kadına yönelik şiddetin gerekçesi olarak hangi terminoloji tercih ediliyor, kadına yönelik şiddetin temel unsuru nedir gibi konular yasal düzenlemeler, sivil toplum kuruluşları ve toplumsal anlayış bağlamında incelenecektir.
dc.description.abstractFeminist theories have stimulated studies, discussions, and activism to combat violence against women. In this thesis, first, the approaches of feminism and its contribution to fighting violence against women, as well as the measures taken and the situation of violence against women in Türkiye are discussed. News and all other discourses on violence against women are examples of some perspectives that society accepts. Therefore, how femicide news are handled gives some clues about sentiment about violence against women in the country. Understanding the social context for the prevalence of violence is the first step to contributing to its eradication. Examining the femicide news illustrates how influential the cultural context is. Femicide news are used as instances for the social reflection of societal norms. In addition to the numerous measures and regulations to reduce this, the language and details noted in the news deserve attention. The themes like what kind of terminology is prefered in the femicide news, what is the ground of violence against women in society is examined in the context of legal regulations, non-governmental organizations and social foundations.
