dc.description.abstractHale Bolak Boratav is a social psychologist who studied and worked in academia in Turkey and the United States. She received her B.A in psychology from Boğaziçi University and her Ph.D. from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Boratav has held a postdoctoral position as a scholar in feminist studies at the University of California and a teaching appointment in the psychology and women’s studies departments at the same university.
