Özet

This paper presents the theoretical hypotheses on environmental pollution. It is essential to address ecological degradation theoretically and develop theories and hypotheses that will develop arguments to prevent environmental degradation. Theories developed on the subject started with the Environmental Kuznets Curve Hypothesis (EKC) analysis. In this study, theoretical explanations will be given regarding the EKC hypothesis, Environmental Phillips Curve Hypothesis, Pollution Haven Hypothesis, Pollution Halo Hypothesis, Porter Hypothesis, Rebound Effect and Jevons Paradox, Green Paradox, and Green and Double Dividend Hypothesis. © 2025 Elsevier Inc.
