Gender as a scapegoat: Being resilient in the face of oppression

Tezimin kapsamı, ABD ve İngiltere gibi ülkelerde ve İngilizce konuşulmayan Polonya ve İtalya gibi ülkelerde uygulanan baskı sistemlerini, Judith Butler'ın teorilerinin kullanarak anlaşılmaya çalışıldığı ve feministlerin ve kuirlerin bu ülkelerde günah keçisi olmalarının ardındaki nedenlerin ortaya koyularak, tartışmaya Türkiye'deki kuir öznelerin dili olan Lubunca'yı da ekleyerek, bu yöntemlerin aynı zamanda bahsi geçen özneleri nasıl birleştirebileceği olasılığının ortaya konmasıdır.

The scope of my thesis covers the oppression systems that are deployed by countries like the U.S. and U.K., as well as non-English-speaking countries like Poland and Italy, while using the theories of Judith Butler to unveil the reasons behind the scrutiny of feminists and queers, with the addition of Lubunca-a language of the queer subjects in Türkiye-, in order to better understand how these methods should also unify the aforementioned subjects.
