Abstract
Öz:Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, travmatik yaşantının alkol etkisi altında araç kullanma riskine ve alkol içme nedenlerine etkisini tespit etmektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Katılımcılar, deneyleme ve denetleme grubu olmak üzere toplam 498 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Sürücü Davranışlarını Geliştirme Eğitimi’ne katılan 295 sürücü araştırmanın deneyleme grubunu, 203 katılımcı da denetleme grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında; sürücü bilgi formu, içme nedenleri ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Travmatik yaşantının, alkol etkisi altında araç kullanma riskini artırdığı bulunmuştur. Alkol etkisi altında araç kullananların, problemlerle baş etme, alkolün etkisini artırma amacıyla alkol kullandıkları tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Çalışmamızın temel problemi olan travmatik yaşantının, alkol etkisi altında araç kullanmada risk faktörü olabileceği saptanmıştır.
Abstract: Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of traumatic life event driving under the influence of alcohol and reasons of alcohol intake. Material and Methods: Participants are consist of 498 people, including the experiment and control group.The experiment group consisted of 295 drivers registered in Driver Behaviour Development Training Programme. The control group consisted of 203 participants. In the collection of data; driver information form, drinking motives questionnaire Results: Traumatic experience increase the risk of driving under the influence of alcohol. It is concluded that whoever drives under the influence of alcohol, uses alcohol to cope up with problems and to increase the effect of alcohol Conclusion: The main problem of our study is that traumatic life may be a risk factor for driving under the influence of alcohol.
