dc.description.abstractBu tez, J.K. Rowling'in Harry Potter serisinin Girard perspektifinden derinlemesine bir okumasıdır. Girard'ın insan davranışı ve sosyal etkileşimler anlayışı, J.K. Rowling'in hikaye anlatımının katmanlarını anlamak için derin bir objektif sunar. Onun arzular, rekabet ve fedakarlık hakkındaki teorileri, Harry Potter'ın Sihirli Dünyası'ndaki sosyal dinamikleri derinlemesine incelemek için bir çerçeve oluşturur. Tez, Girard'ın kuramlarını çözümlemekle başlar, örneğin kurban mekanizması ve taklit eden arzular gibi. Girard'ın teorilerinin Harry Potter'ın Sihirli Dünyası'ndaki varlığını doğrulamak için anlatıdaki kilit sahneleri keşfeder. Ardından, bu kavramlar üzerine inşa edilen sosyal yapıyı inceler. Harry Potter serisindeki çeşitli karakterlerin potansiyel kurtarıcı figürleri veya kurbanları olarak rollerini inceler. dc.description.abstractThis dissertation is an in-depth reading of the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, from the Girardian perspective. Girard's understanding of human behavior and social interactions offers a profound lens through which to comprehend layers of J. K. Rowling's storytelling. His theories about desire, rivalry and sacrification provide a framework to deeply study the social dynamics in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The dissertation starts with decoding Girard's concepts such as scapegoat mechanism and mimetic desire. It explores pivotal scenes in the narration to confirm the presence of Girard's theories in the Wizarding World. Then, it proceeds to the scrutiny of social structure built on these concepts. It investigates the roles of various characters in the Harry Potter series as potential scapegoat figures or sacrificial victims. By comparing the characters from the series to real life figures, it aims to make a connection between historical incidents and J. K. Rowling's narration and finally highlight the effects of Girard's concept in the fictional world of Harry Potter. By bridging theory and fiction, it interprets Girard's perspective of social structure into today's popular culture.
