The problems ofstrangers who settle to Istanbul permanently or temporarily are discussedtogether with the relation ofthese problems to the new regulations onimmigration which are adopted by the Turkish state according to EU standardsand the general attitude ofpeople of Turkey towards the immigrants arequestioned.
