Based on real life experiences and practices on the ground, a discussion on different models of personhood underlying different educational practices forms a key part of the paper and I also discuss the extent to which participants of the school vacillated between different perceptions of personhood. In a broader interdisciplinary context, I will provide a clear example of the way in which anthropology can contribute to educational sciences, and highlight the interrelation between the two disciplines.
